This crystalline sample declared as amphetamine was not amphetamine but ketamine.
Ketamine is an anesthetic and occurs in liquid form as a solution or as a white, crystalline powder. Since ketamine can trigger dissociative effects (body-mind separation) when snorted at doses as low as 50 mg, confusion with amphetamine can lead to an unpleasant and psychologically overwhelming effect. If doses are added due to the non-amphetamine-typical effect, a strong narcotic effect may occur.
With powders and crystalline samples there are always false declarations and impurities; it is therefore essential to have these tested before consumption!
